A. We do supply to the trade and offer trade discounts. Please call the office for details.
Q. I have fitted my drawer but cannot release the front-fixing bracket.?
A. In the hole on the side of the drawer at the front there is at the top a small pozidrive cross-shaped slot slightly obscured by a safety flange. Insert your pozidrive screwdriver lifting the flange, rotate clockwise to eject the bracket. This is clearly seen prior to inserting the front bracket. Click here to see installation.
Q. When first using the drawer it sticks or does not open or close smoothly. Why is this.?
A. The most common fault is in the installation. In almost all cases of this nature the runners are not aligned correctly with each other thus creating a twisting action. They must be horizontal to each other to avoid twisting. Do not use a level when inserting the back screws that secure the runners to the cabinet. You must always measure from the bottom or top of the cabinet making sure that the distance is the same as the front on both sides.
Q. I would like to fit internal drawers into my existing cabinet, why do I need special hinges.?
A. If you look at you cabinet now with the door opened square you will see that it overlaps the inside of the cabinet by 4 or 5mm. If a drawer was installed like this you would find that the drawer would hit against the door. This special hinge is to move the door over slightly to give the clearance for the drawer to open.
Q. How many drawers can I fit behind a door.?
A. Drawers have to be fitted between the hinges. Measure the space between the hinges and divide by 100mm if you are using shallow drawers or divide by 220mm if using deep drawers. Therefore if you have 370mm of space you will only be able to fit one deep drawer and one shallow drawer. You could however fit three shallow drawers.
Q. How do the deep drawer side pieces fit to the deep drawers.?
A. Once you have installed your runners and put on the front brackets you must drill a 10mm hole to accept what's known as the gallery rail. This has an expanding dowel when straightened .Insert into the 10mm hole whilst folded the straighten to lock into position. Clip this rail into the steel back. Once this is done take the side extension with the grey sprung piece at the back and the perforation face is on the inside and hook over the rail gently press down into place.
