Our drawers are made to fit the modern cabinet that is made from 18mm thick board. Should you find that your cabinet is made from 16mm you will need to use a 2mm spacer on each side behind the runner. For a 15mm board you will need 3mm spacers. We supply both sizes automatically with the drawer. Drawer runners, screws and front brackets are all supplied.
The most important information that is needed is the side to side measurement, this will determine the width of the drawer and whether you need spacers.

Measure the inside space from side to side as depicted in the drawing on the right.
| No spacer required | Requires 2mm spacers | Requires 3mm spacers |
| 18mm thick cabinet | 16mm thick cabinet | 15mm thick cabinet |

| 400mm wide = 364 space | 400mm wide = 368 space | 400mm wide = 370 space |

| 800mm wide = 764 space | 800mm wide = 768 space | 800mm wide = 770 space |
| 900mm wide = 864 space | 900mm wide = 868 space | 900mm wide = 870 space |
| 1000mm wide = 964 space | 1000mm wide = 968 space | 1000mm wide = 970 space |
Measure the depth of the inside of the cabinet as depicted in the drawing on the right.
There are 5 different drawer depths to choose from
Choose the correct drawer height.
A shallow drawer used in the top of a cabinet for cutlery = a "M" height drawer
A deep drawer usually used in a three drawer chest.= a "D" height drawer
If your drawers are to go behind the high front of another drawer you will need internal drawers. If they are to go behind a door you will need internal drawers but to enable the drawer to open properly different hinges will be needed. These are shown on our accessories page. Please measure the gap between the hinges to ensure there is sufficient space to install them. Shallow drawers need 100mm of space while deep drawers need 220mm of space. Therefore if you wanted 2 x deep internal drawers you would need a gap of 440mm between the hinges.
